"The greatest sign of success for a teacher... is to be able to say, 'The children are now working as if I did not exist.'" - Dr. Maria Montessori

Parent and child attend the meeting together. It is an opportunity for the child to work one-on-one with the directress using our classroom materials. This allows the faculty to determine the best placement of the child. The meeting also gives the parent an opportunity to ask questions, address concerns and expectations, and become better acquainted with Little Blossom and the Montessori approach to education.

It is important for parents to have a thorough understanding of our program in order to determine whether Little Blossom will be the best environment for their child. Little Blossom Montessori is committed to educating each child in accordance with the Montessori philosophy. It is the philosophy and the history of Maria Montessori that supports close observation and careful guidance for each child in our program. We have found that some children thrive in our school and some children are best served by a different educational environment.

  • "Free the child's potential, and you will transform him into the world." - Dr. Maria Montessori

The Montessori classroom is appropriate and beneficial for almost every child. However, there are exceptions and in these instances we will work with parents to identify additional special education help.

Little Blossom Montessori School adheres to a policy of truth in advertising. At no time does Little Blossom Montessori School, or staff, knowingly disseminate false information. Little Blossom Montessori School accepts students of any race, sex, color, and national, ethnic and religious origin. We guarantee the confidentiality of, and access to, student records in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
